Best enjoyed in a clockwise direction, the route begins in Beverley before curving through Pocklington, Thixendale, Malton, Sledmere, and the dramatic North Sea coastline at Bempton and Bridlington. Starting from Scarborough’s Sainsbury’s car park on Falsgrave Road, the trail quickly leaves the town behind and opens up to sweeping sea vistas, peaceful woodlands, and the dramatic cliffs of the Yorkshire coastline. With long stretches hugging the coast, riders are treated to stunning views of the North Sea almost the entire way. 

Highlights along the way include Hayburn Wyke: A short detour leads to a secluded cove complete with a double waterfall tumbling straight onto the beach.
